Thinking back, these 3 months felt so much faster compared to life in tekong. Made alot of new friends here, too bad a number of them will be&nbsp; re-coursing and therefore will be posted to other bases. <br><br>Hopefully I get to be a V200 tank operator once i get my posting on thurs. Cant believe I actually feel like returning now after my 3-month struggle to leave this island. Tekong has almost been like a second home to me. Sad to say is, just when we are so used to the place, its time to leave. :(<br><br>Graduation parade was cool as my mother put on the jockey cap on me. A great sense of acheievement dawned upon me as I left the island taking photos with fellow buddies and shaking hands with the commanders who used to "torture" us. Any sense of unhappiness with the commanders are quickly forgotten as they wish us all the best with a firm handshake. The best thing is to shake hands with my commando CSM "Master Ling"!&nbsp; I really appreciate all the training the commanders had provided me.<br><br>Thinking back, when I first arrived as a civilian, life was horrid.
